1. Introduction
Asset Management provides organizations with the ability to identify, classify, and secure their assets, laying a foundational layer for other Zero Trust capabilities. This capability enables organizations to maintain an up-to-date understanding of their technical environment by capturing assets, assigning them unique identities, and managing their lifecycle.
2. Overview of the Authoring Tool
The Authoring Tool provides a user-friendly graphical interface for administrators to define and configure asset sources, capture assets, verify them, and monitor their verification status. The tool includes the following key components:
- Asset Capture Tool: Enables the creation, configuration, viewing, updating, and deletion of asset sources. Additionally, it facilitates the capture and integration of assets based on the configured asset source.
- Asset View: Allows users to view captured assets, verify them, and track their verification status.
3. Steps to Use the Asset Management Platform
- Login
- Select the Asset Management Product and Click on Open

Navigate to the Asset Management Product
- Select Authoring Tool from the main menu
- Access the Asset Capture Tool Section, and click on Add Asset Source button
- Fill the Asset Source Details and click on Next button
- Click the Learn More About Configuration Details button for additional information on the required fields.
Complete the Asset Source Configuration Details and click Add. To finish configuring the asset source, click Finish, or use the Add button to enter more details.
Click Capture button to capture assets
Click Integrate button to integrate the captured assets into the asset repository.
You can view the captured assets directly or by navigating to the Asset View section
Click on Verify Assets button to verify the captured assets
You can view the asset verification status by clicking on Verification Result button
